Join Daintree Experience on a truly wild walk, exploring the ancient rainforest, stunning valleys, majestic mountains, and crystal clear streams of the Daintree, plus lunch and a Daintree River Wildlife Cruise.
What is the itinerary
Between 8:30 – 9:00am Pick up from your Port Douglas or Mossman accommodation (exact time to be advised upon booking)
You will enjoy a guided hike into the ancient rainforest, exploring lush forest glades and the creekside valley, and swim beneath a pristine, secluded waterfall.
Followed by a superb gourmet lunch in a rainforest restaurant, with choices of Steak, Barramundi, Kangaroo, Chicken or Vegetarian, and other dietary needs catered for. Lunch also includes an exotic fruit-tasting experience.
And in the afternoon, we enjoy a thrilling cruise on the magnificent Daintree River, searching for wildlife and the saltwater crocodile.
Return to your accommodation between 4:00pm – 4:30pm
The Waterfall hike is a somewhat challenging two hour return, requiring reasonable fitness and good balance.
All activities are seasonal and weather permitting.
You will be asked to sign a WAIVER of Liability on the day. We recommend you take out travel insurance. To receive a full refund, travellers may cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time. No refunds will be given after that time.

loose clothing suitable for hiking, hat, fresh shirt for the afternoon, sunscreen, insect repellant (or long sleeves/pants), swimming gear, towel, raincoat or poncho, sunglasses, walking shoes, camera. Water bottle (not glass).
