Join the Wavelength Outer Reef Snorkel Tour from Port Douglas, and you will visit 3 stunning sites on your day exploring the Outer Great Barrier Reef. These sites are selected for snorkellers only and based on the conditions of the day.
Wavelength is a smaller reef cruise departing from the Port Douglas Marina and is locally owned and operated by marine biologists. They are focused on small groups with a high level of reef interpretation. You will leave this Reef Cruise with a new appreciation for the Great Barrier Reef!
This Great Barrier Reef Cruise is for snorkellers only and does not offer a glass bottom boat option. A great reef cruise for the adventure seekers who are purely interested in exploring the Great Barrier Reef without all the bells & whistles.
What is the itinerary
8:10am – Check-in & Boarding at the Wavelength Vessel at the Crystalbrook Marina in Port Douglas
8:20am – Departure for 1.5 hour trip to the Outer Reef
10:00am – Arrival at first site for free and guided snorkeling time and morning tea
11:50am – Arrival at second site for a guided snorkeling tour and gourmet rolls for lunch
1:45pm – Arrival at third site for free snorkeling time
2:30pm – Depart for the return trip to Port Douglas
4:00pm – Arrival back at the Crystalbrook Marina in Port Douglas
